Future

The world we live in is in a state of crisis: climate change, resource depletion, geopolitical tension, globalisation, economic meltdown... But while we destroy the planet on the one hand, on the other there’s a growing understanding of the potential of the human race.

 

Over the past few decades, quantum physics and metaphysics have converged to bring about a new awareness of the nature of reality and the potential of human consciousness. Scientists and sages are in agreement: matter equals energy and everything’s connected.

 

Systems science tells us that when complex open systems—such as living organisms and their societies—approach critical instability, they either transform or break down. Though we’re teetering on the edge it may be that if enough of us wake up and work together towards a sustainable future, that future could be more than we’ve ever dreamed of. We have an unprecedented opportunity to shift humanity to a new level of consciousness and it’s up to each of us to play our part. As the Hopi Indian Elders have said: We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

 

There’s a global movement of scientists, thinkers, creatives and activists working from a perspective of research, education, connection and sustainability to find ways of tipping the scales away from global chaos and towards conscious human evolution. At the same time, there’s a huge surge of mainstream interest in all things non-ordinary, supported by the media, the movie industry and the internet.
